Qippay partners with BNZ to offer affordable payment solutions to Kiwi organisations

Emerging payment solutions provider Qippay has entered into a partnership with the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) to offer affordable and enriched payment experiences to Kiwi organisations. The partnership will support the development of open banking in New Zealand and help address existing pain points associated with payments.

Open banking aims to transform the payment landscape in New Zealand, and this partnership marks an exciting milestone for the industry. The agreement will help businesses and charities navigate the complex payment environment and unlock the potential of open banking for organisations across the country.

Both Qippay and BNZ share a focus on technological innovation and a commitment to fostering open banking in New Zealand. The partnership was established to tackle common challenges businesses and charities face when receiving payments or donations, such as time delays and transaction fees. By addressing these issues, Qippay and BNZ aim to support them to be more efficient and productive and make it easier to provide a seamless payment experience for their customers and doners.

Following this announcement, Qippay will undertake its next capital raise to secure further partnerships and scale its product offering.
